It’s been a roller coaster start to Autumn/Winter season!!

The season started with the House of Bruar featuring three of our scarves in their catalogue, then Johnstons of Elgin rolled out our wool scarves across all three stores, followed by our team in Germany selling the collection into 22 stores across Germany.

September marked the first of our retail shows. We had a great time at Perthshire Open Studios, thank you to everyone who popped by. It was amazing working alongside other artists and designers and meeting some of my customers.

The roller coaster ride continues. We been accepted to feature in several shows this Autumn, exhibiting alongside some of Britain’s most talented designers, artists and craftsmen. We look forward to seeing you at one of the many shows we are exhibiting at.

MADE LONDON is one of the top selling events for designer makers in Europe.

“We aim to present an enjoyable event showcasing the very best and most original makers in this country and beyond exhibiting the highest quality contemporary craft and design. Visitors to our first show were bowled over by the variety, quality and originality of the craft and design work on show; loved exploring each four levels of the dramatic and beautiful building and loved the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the show.”

Last week I met up with Nicola from Small City Big Personality, Nicola kindly told my wee story here is a taster of her blog:

“Ahhhhh. Yes. They were stunning scarves. I loved them. But like a few of my early decisions they were perhaps more of a designer’s whim than a sensible decision. Do you know that silk cost me £43 a meter to print? £43! I was so intent on being innovative and so, when I discovered no-one else was printing on it…!” Her big brown eyes widen, the eyebrows go up and she smiles in mock disbelief at her own naïve self.
